National Network · July 1–12

Wherever you are, let's celebrate together.

Community-led 4th of July events across the country are coming together as one national wave. Add yours, join one near you, or both.

Our main focus is July 4th, Interdependance Day (celebrating and elevating the fun and community connection in "Independence Day"!), but we're also encouraging people to add events to the calendar for Interdependence Week, July 1–12, around topics of civic engagement, reflecting on where we are as a country (good and bad), and co-designing the "America v2.50" that we all want to live in, as we celebrate the last 250 years, and co-create the next 250 years, all of us, together, starting now.

Together we can
01

Your local event becomes part of a national wave that day.

02

Find a 4th of July event near you, or add your own.

03

Connect with people organizing 4th of July celebrations around the country, get ideas for how to help your event be great, and let's come together as a country to show how our country is 250 years strong, and our future is even brighter than our present!

How to take part in four steps

1

Add your event to the calendar

Put your event (any size, any format, in person or online) on the shared national Luma calendar. Anything between July 1 and July 12 that supports, strengthens, or revitalizes democracy and good governance counts.

2

Add a note to your event listing

On your own event page (Luma, Eventbrite, Meetup, Facebook... wherever you host it), add the note below so attendees know they're part of something bigger.

We're proud to be part of National Interdependance Day celebrations across the country! Join one or add yours at: https://lu.ma/interdependanceday
3

Want help promoting? Invite us as a co-host

Add together@interdependanceday.org as a co-host on your event and we'll help amplify it through our network. We won't change anything on your event without your permission.

4

Join the live Zoom call on July 4th

Happening all day on the 4th. Meet people celebrating, honoring, and reflecting on July 4th from around the country. Subscribe to the calendar or our newsletter to get the Zoom link and other updates.
